Oh, blessed asteroid
hurtling toward Earth
please annihilate me.
Destroy the piranhas
that gnaw on my heart.
Obliterate the gnats
that buzz in my head.
“Really?” a voice within whispers.
“What if you simply surrender,
let go of the lower concerns
you hold so dear?”
I call out for help,
chant and sit with the pain
of loosening mind’s grip
on its many Legos and Barbies.
Suddenly, the Beloved’s
asteroid of love
soars within me.
while with a puff of Breath,
is balmed to smithereens.
Oh, blessed analogies that ring so true and bring such insight and peace. Thank you for reminding me of my divine inheritance with such poetic beauty.
Thank you, Stephani. It was a fun realization for me when it came through.
OH DEAR LESLEY.
..YOUR ABILITY TO CHANNEL, SUCH BEAUTIFUL SHABDA FILLED
WORDS….BRINGS INSPIRATION, REMEMBRANCE, ATTENTION, DEVOTION, SINCERITY, LOVE, ONCE AGAIN, TO REACH, FOR OUR TRUE HOME.
MUCH LOVE AND GRATITUDE,
Thank you, Teddy. Your recognition of all those traits shows how alive they are in you.
To space and beyond with your amazing poetry❤️
I am coming to Santa Fe at the end of July and would love to take a hike with you.
Yes, to space and beyond! Every moment. That’s the goal. I’m so happy I’ll get to see you. Love, L
That was exquisite!
Thank you, Sheila. That means a lot coming from a writer as eloquent as you.
How did you know about my gnats and piranhas? And to think that the Master’s Loving Presence rather than annihilation was my answer! “Balming to smithereens” is such a perfect reframe…thank you for this very timely inspiration.
Dan, it’s comforting to know we share the gnats and piranhas (less and less, for sure). Thank you for your kind words. The Master is the great balmer!
So powerful and timely for me, thank you. Too often I rail against those piranhas and gnats, rather than surrendering. Thank you!
That is the key, isn’t it, Chloe? To go right to the surrender, rather than wrangling with the negative force. A great teaching for us all.
