Siluetas_sobre_la_luna

With every orbit

my love waxes for You.

The power of your brilliance

awakens this dead rock.

In those times when I must go dark—

hide behind our friend Earth

the longing fills my craters

my Plato, Copernicus, and Kepler, to the brim.

But when your effulgence again shines

on my Sea of Nectar, of Vapours, and Clouds,

my Ocean of Storms—

I lose concern over their dry lifelessness

because I have You to ignite me.

As our love deepens I see

that you are not separate from me.

Any moment, in darkness or light

with just one thought of you

I enter the glow of my full self.

You are me and I am you

folded together with all the stars of all the galaxies

that are and ever will be.

Your love is

me.
