   Lesley I really love how you used this photo of an older person who ‘s wrinkled hands, weathered and worn leather coat, and walking stick all show the wisdom of age and experience, as signs of a successful life spent truly living, and learning through the experiences of the ups and the downs, in their life,! I immediately saw a metaphor when you wrote,” I have wandered in this life,the paths up mountains,and through valleys,” which could actually be from this persons actual physical hikes but also could be seen as the climbing of mountains as being, the up times or successes this person experienced, and the valleys being the failures and low periods, of their experiences; all their wrinkles (roads) as having brought them wisdom and hopefully further along in their evolvement in consciousness!
