This explains the experience of longing perfectly…..when it begins you simply don’t understand nor do you know why the pain is so great. You’re homesick but you don’t know for where. No one around you gets it so you try to cover it but that love within demands to be found. I’m so grateful my Master found me so grateful to follow Him all the way home. Thanks for sharing this Leslie.
Beautifully said, Sherri. That was my experience exactly. Today I am ever grateful to have been brought so low that I had to surrender. When I was ready, the Master appeared.
Beautiful clip, and so very true. The longing is so deep and so profound that one decides against all “reason” to follow it, and to never look back. Lovely contemplation. Thank you, Lesley.
Truly, Rudy, we do have to surrender the mind’s “fixes” for our pain and launch into the higher realms. There is only one problem in all of existence, and One solution.
Lesley in one of your comments above you said,” how grateful you were to have been brought so low.” That truly hit a cord with me, since I too hit such a low and in that falling I found my way home or better said, the Master found me at that bottom. That longing or pain of separation has been has been with me for as long as I can remember, and just the other day you told me that,”I had been burning karma on the low, while my soul was seeking God on high!”, way back in my early turbulent teen years. This video was so beautiful and shows the diversity of human life, but how we are all one and all trying to find our way back to the Godhead. You truly are a pure and open channel for the Divine and blessed are we who have come to know your being in this incarnation!
Michael, Thank you for your kind words. What I know of your story could make a great movie about this point of being brought low. You really did it in an exciting way! Must have been your deep devotion fighting to be heard. That devotion inspires all of us who know you. I’m so happy to have met up with you in cyberspace.
Richard, what a beautiful poem! So very true. What a gift is our pain, or as Rumi says, “Our pain is our cure.” I’m happy you enjoyed this video as much as I did. Thank you for joining in the conversation.
Lesley, thank you for sharing your beautiful soul and experiences with so many people through this blog. I feel truly blessed to be one of them, and I am honored to be welcomed to this unfolding conversation.

What a fantastic video. I know many who can relate to the sentiment expressed here.
Yes, Tim, there are so many who experience the kind of longing illustrated so well in this. Little do they know what a blessing is their pain.

This is beautiful- a real “keeper”!!
This is an amazing video so full of Truth, Lesley. Thank you for sharing it.
So poignant and lovely Lesley. It was an awesome clip that really nailed it!

Hi Lesley, this reminds me of a poem I wrote about a year ago. Without our pain, how would we know it’s time to come home?
When I look for Your Love
And find only my pain,
It tells me we’ve been separated for far too long.
Oh, Blessed One,
I only want to be with You.
I’m on my way.
