Oh yes Lesley, that is truly more valuable than any material possession or worldly achievement, since those are fleeting! As my sojourn of Soul continues it’s inward and upward journey and as I began to taste of the Divine Elixir more and more, the Masters teaching, that nothing should be able to move the dweller in Shabda, has become my desire, my will to liberation! I know now that that is true Power, to stay centered in the Masters presence, to have perfect Simran in every moment in the Now! It really is as you named this post,”The Most Valuable Possession,” Thank you for this channeling message from the Divine and also for the photo of this beautiful sentient being , the flower!
Thank you, Michael. This post arose because an attack came in, one that had pulled me off center many times before. This time, though, with the strength of the Beloved, I stayed centered. The feeling of mastering that moment is incomparable, so much power, so much love toward myself and the person coming at me. In that moment I saw what the Path is really about: Being the Love in every moment. I am happy to hear that you too are coming to value that above all, and thank you for your kind note about the beautiful Indian Paintbrush.
That is the ultimate test of love and faith. We just heard several messages yesterday about being in that lonely and isolating place and standing in faith and acting in love. Hebrews 13:5-6 says “…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me”. What a promise. So much easier to stay centered in the storm when are standing on a rock. Love you. Blessings.
What a powerful quote, Jeannette. So beautiful, and true. Thank you for joining in the conversation here. I just read a beautiful poem that fits well with your comment. It’s by the mystic Rabia:
Perfect for me today, Lesley. My vision has declined in recent years and my mind despises wearing reading glasses. Recently I have been wearing “pinhole” glasses while reading to help strengthen my eye muscles to improve my vision (you can even do it by just forming a small circle/pinhole by curling your pointer finger and look through it). It is amazing what happens– everything comes into crystal-clear, sharp focus without the aid of anything external (glasses). I find it to be the perfect analogy — When our precious attention is focused on the Beloved, everything becomes One. Much Love : )
An how extraordinary the gift we’re given when ultimately there is nothing any long that is perceived as an attack, only perhaps a small unpleasantness to be noted and lovingly set aside.
Niki, you make such a great point. Really every “attack” is but a doorway into higher truth. It seems we are all moving toward that day when we welcome such experiences knowing that new regions of beauty will open through them.
Lesley, thank you, this is so timely for me. It is truly such a gift to be able to perceive an ‘attack’ as a doorway into higher truth rather than a blockage. Niki, your comment is so pertinent to this, thank you. It reminds me how crucial it is to ‘grow the love’ in order to be gifted the grace to lovingly set aside one’s troubles.

How wonderful Lesley. Thank you for this.
Thank you Lesley for being a positive soul for my family. God bless. 🙂
Yes, and like King David said in Psalm 23
Thank you, Sheila, for reminding me of that:
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me…”
It is so powerful and true.
