Cirrus are the willows of the sky. Graceful, wispy, and light, so beautifully captured in both your verse and image. Thank you for sharing your perfect words.
Thank you all for your kind responses. This little poem came in as I stood out in the spring wind and shot the image. During spring, New Mexico is extremely windy, so the sense of those beautiful clouds seeming so still amidst the pummeling felt like I do sometimes when my outer world is a tornado and yet I am quiet at the center. Rudy, I so appreciate the analogy of the willows.
lesley your sense of sky is sublime
sky pour light
like Love
awake
{Happy sigh. . . smile}
Glorious; both poem and vision!
Lovely. Makes me think of those times I lay on my back and contemplate the vastness of the pinda world.
