The mind wants to defeat
to decimate
the lower tendencies—
lust
anger
greed
attachment
and vanity.
It wants to win.
Meanwhile,
the Beloved simply loves
them into submission,
includes them
in the great Oneness
that I am.

Who can resist the call to be loved? Our Master’s love is like the ocean waves that massage the great volcanic stones so constantly that they eventually surrender and eagerly change their form into soft and supple sand — like we see on the beach where this photo was taken. It’s easy to see, Lesley, how a little time away to such splendor can turn you into a poet. Thank you for the lovely thoughts.
Thank you all for you kind words. I felt completely blessed when the Beloved brought this through to me, such a wave of love and kindness toward myself and others. Rudy, that is a beautiful analogy–to be as surrendered as the sand. Love that!
Thank you for such a beautiful reminder. I always think I have to overcome my mind, and then aways get brought back to loving and thanking my mind.
Such lovely, pure, divine simplicity to remind us of who we really are. Surrender.
