Ahh, yes, a song that goes deep into my psyche because it was a song of my youth. Applying it to the Master feels so right. I sense the Shabda building toward a grand global seminar. Lovely photos, too, Lesley. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Rudy. After my morning contemplation this song came into my head and I felt the comfort in it. It was a revision in a way. In my youth it had a maudlin feel, but now that I am in direct contact with the true Friend, it is a much happier song.
“and nuthin’…whoa nuthin’ is goin’ right” Blessed is the entity that experiences the dark night of soul, even in a minute degree. Cumulatively, these “dark night” experiences will eventually coalesce in a single lifetime to birth a real seeker.
Since I have been in Modesto (16 months) I have given away about 20 of Sri Gary’s wonderful book, SDJ. NOT A SINGLE SOUL has referred to it or asked me about it!! I am continually flummoxed to see this response…or lack thereof. It blows me away into the next quadrant!
We have been blessed with “call out His Name”…and Him being here!
Al, I think that’s why this song hits so deeply: It really presents that dark night of soul and the solution to it. How amazing that, after all the seeking, we find the Friend right within. So grateful.
Thank you all for your kind comments. The other favorite line in this song for me is, “Close your eyes and think of me, and soon I will be there to brighten up even your darkest night.” This has proven true for me countless times.

That song is the ring tone on my speed dial button to the Master. We are so blessed!
