Just as the desire to explore and take great journeys arises within,
so does the desire to rise above these earthly entanglements.
The challenges are not imposed from the outside.
Instead they arise from the innermost desire for our Beloved freedom.

Lesley, that photo of the Land of Enchantment is so beautiful and beckons me back to visit again, which I will do next year. Yes, I used to have great desire to explore and take great journeys into the Pinda in my younger years. That desire did arise from within but now has been transmuted to the desire for spiritual freedom her and now! The desire to rise above the earthly entanglements has become my will to liberation and now directs my attention inward and upward to explore the inner regions with my Master. Thank you for such a wonderful post!
Michael, you beautifully expanded on this post. What you write is so true of me too. I feel blessed to have my ambition for worldly adventure transmuted to ambition for the higher love. I still have amazing adventures in the outer, but they are not what I live and thrive upon. They are simply the frosting on the cake. Thank you, dear friend.
