When we realize that this temple we inhabit is our gateway to everything we long for, it truly becomes sacred, and that beauty is reflected both within and without. I love the images you have selected and the message is a beautiful contemplation whose surface I am barely capable of scratching. Many thanks for sharing this gift.
So true, Rudy, and beautifully said. I too am a babe when it comes to knowing the profundity of the inner temple. In my years of writing about New Mexico, I was blessed to visit some 100 towns, and most of them had at least one church. I realized this week that I have spent a lot of time photographing churches, and these are some of my favorites. How wonderful it is to move from capturing the image from the outside to inhabiting my own church inside.

Fantastic photos…I love the churches of NM and the environs that surround them.
I had my own personal temple massaged yesterday evening in honor of the sacred that enlivens it.
