When we realize that this temple we inhabit is our gateway to everything we long for, it truly becomes sacred, and that beauty is reflected both within and without. I love the images you have selected and the message is a beautiful contemplation whose surface I am barely capable of scratching. Many thanks for sharing this gift.
So true, Rudy, and beautifully said. I too am a babe when it comes to knowing the profundity of the inner temple. In my years of writing about New Mexico, I was blessed to visit some 100 towns, and most of them had at least one church. I realized this week that I have spent a lot of time photographing churches, and these are some of my favorites. How wonderful it is to move from capturing the image from the outside to inhabiting my own church inside.
Wow! Thank you.
Fantastic photos…I love the churches of NM and the environs that surround them.
I had my own personal temple massaged yesterday evening in honor of the sacred that enlivens it.
That’s great, Sheila, what a beautiful way to view massage. I too am learning to give more to the temple. I’ll paraphrase our Beloved: Give back to that which gives to you.
Thank you Lesley, for those beautiful pictures of the churches from different! towns in New Mexico! what a place to explore your state is! Those words are so beautiful you wrote and hold such truth and power in them! That statement is transforming my life moment by moment on this path with our Master! How profound they really are! Thanks.
What a lovely reflection for contemplation Lesley. One can search the world over for what is only found within-the true temple of our being. A sacred journey unveiled as we travel through its hallways back to our Beloved. Blessings to you for sharing your sweet reflections inner and outer.
What you write is lovely, Deborah. Truly, we have all traveled so far, through rounds and rounds of creation, to be where we are now, honoring the true temple. Yay!
