Very beautiful creation, Lesley!! Thank you! The music especially moved me…a wonderful piece by JS Bach. When I studied classical music Bach was so far ahead of his time in harmony that he was scolded and reprimanded by his peers. Today, musicians all over the world pore over his melodic voice leading in amazement because, not only are these harmonic movements beautiful, they are ingenious. I am going back to some of my recordings of JS Bach to help my brain cope with the insane vibes of the Christmas season, to relax and fall into that space within where the sun is always shining and Sound is always ringing. Thanks again!
Al, how wonderful that you had classical music training. I must admit that I am just beginning to appreciate the depth and beauty of Bach’s creation. The music in this is so subtle I wondered if I should have something more resounding, but then I realized that subtlety can be the most resounding sound of all.
Thank you, Al, for illuminating us as to some of the background of the music. Bach was a gift from the Divine and one of the most prolific musicians ever who inspired all the greatest musicians of the late 18th and 19th centuries, and certainly fits snugly into Lesley’s creation here.
