Lesley, thanks for posting this again. I almost have to laugh with the timeliness of it. An hour or so ago, I phoned my mother just to check in and say hello and ended up being verbally attacked and insulted because I made the error of telling her I didn’t think she needed to be terrified of what will happen if President Obama is re-elected. My intent was to ease her worry but boy, did that backfire! However, in the middle of the conversation, I opened up your email and saw “Soul for President”! I just had to watch it again after the phone call, which was really quite hurtful to the mind and emotions. What a beautiful contemplation. It brought a smile to my face and tears of joy to my eyes. Once again, thank you for reminding me of Truth and the Master. Many blessings and much love.
Marian, I can really relate to you. It is amazing how stirred up people can get about politics. I only entered into one political conversation this election, and the minute I did, I regretted it. I could feel the person’s resistance and anger immediately, so I backed off and said, “Whew!” Won’t do that again. It is much easier to vote soul. Blessings, dear friend. I’m happy you were able to see yourself as unharmed.
