Today I give thanks to my Beloved for the courage to live my highest truth, and thank you, The Inner Adventure readers, for helping send that truth out into the Cosmos.
Please check out this inspiring video by GoodLineFilms. “It’s about finding the courage within to face the fear.”
High Line Slack Line with Good Line
Thank you!
Thank you Lesley for being a beacon of truth, love and inspiration in my world. I too am thankful for the Beloved’s support in realizing the truth of my being. We are so blessed to share this amazing adventure. Much love to you. Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Jamie. And thank you right back for being the Divine channel that you are. I so appreciate the way you say that: “realizing the truth of my being.” Yes! We are truth and love.
love the slack line video! thanks for posting it.
This video also reminded me of a wonderful fantastic novel by Colum McCann “Let the Great World Spin.” Title alone is somehting to contemplate, but a superbly spun tale, set in NYC around the week frenchman Phillipe Petit walked the wire he set up between the twin towers, which then led me to watch the movie, Man on Wire.
It also reminded me about a time long ago when I often felt like I was walking a tight rope in life, and was inspired to just imagine that the tightrope was only a couple of inches off the ground.
I now know that was a gift from the Beloved, until I realized love supports me in all situations, there is nothing to fear, there is no fear in the now. Loved the guys comments about how walking these lines keeps them in the now.
May the blessings be and we be thankful.
Yes, Sheila, isn’t that video inspiring? Thank you for your beautiful comment. Love really does support us in all situations. I will check out that book and movie. We definitely do walk a tightrope; however the danger is all in our imagination. Blessings to you, dear soul.
Lesley I really enjoyed that video and how it used the analogy of walking the High Line and living in the NOW! Yes, to walk on this planet in the present moment, or the High Line is the key to being centered in the moment and therefore truly being! That is the miracle and the key to being with The Master in the Tisra Til. Myself, I think I would prefer to try kayaking as opposed to waling the tightrope! Thank you for that wonderful post!
Thank you, Michael. What you say is so true. Suspending into the Now is completely exhilarating, whether walking a tightrope, kayaking or simply opening our hearts to loved ones.
Beautiful Thanksgiving Day wish, Lesley. Not much slack in the slack line, I noticed. It is so much like our journey, especially when we discover that what we always thought was real and could be depended upon is pure illusion. It can make one weak in the knees to see that even the thinnest line is gone. But the sensation of falling is also illusion. Safe always!
I loved Jamie’s comments and second them with gusto. You are an inspiration and I feel privileged to be within the cast of your Inner Adventuring Blog net. I am in awe of your personal dedication and determination to find and share your truth. Life is a loving joy — so honored to even BE here!
I and this budding community are honored to have your all-encompassing viewpoint here, Rudy. And thanks go to you for introducing me to this video. It fits completely with The Inner Adventure because it is about living from the Divine self in an everyday moment. My favorite part was toward the end when the tightrope walkers were comfortable enough to play. That is what is happening for me with this blog. We can all play in the fields of the Lord, knowing we are completely safe no matter how far the fall appears to be.
