Rudy, you so often find resonant meaning like that within life. What a great observation. What struck me in a similar way is how happy Mischief is after giving the kiss, and isn’t it true that when we give, we really receive.
Sweet! makes me contemplate how I reject my dogs licks! ha-ha, while my six year old granddaughter for whom I really got the dog, lets her slobber all over her face. Maybe I am missing out on something I should allow myself to receive?
Haha, Sheila, what a great metaphor. I too tend to ward off the Divine’s licks of love. Those are the ones really worth opening too, and much less messy.
Puppy kisses…yay! I’ve been missing them so much since my best buddy of 14 years passed away the end of June. One of my best memories is the huge one he gave me just before he left. Thanks for this. Made my day.
Ah, Mimi, I am so happy that this reminded you of your loved one. My dear girl of 14 years left three years ago and I still miss her licks. We are so blessed to share our lives with these beautiful doggie souls.
Cute !!
Great music, too.
I’ll put this in my first-aid kit, for when I need an emergency laugh.
Thanks!
Thank you, Bob. After a few weeks of writing a book proposal I needed some levity. I thought maybe my readers might too.
I love that the puppy seemed at first confused by the camera and didn’t know what to do. When in doubt, give ’em some love! Works every time!

love how his little tongue bounces as he breathes!
Laurie, I had to watch it again to see that, and you are right, it is darling. So now I’m smiling again. This little iPhone video just makes me smile.

Ah, such unconditional love! We have only to follow the same simple path that our beloved pets tread so effortlessly…why is it so hard for us?
You are so right, John. And you said that so beautifully. I’m grateful to share my life with our animal pals.
