Thank you, Marian. This metaphor came to me because I was just skiing along while noting the beauty of the fresh snow, but I felt a nudge to look up and wow, the beauty expanded exponentially. Just as it does for us when we look in.
Now let’s file the lens of our inner camera concave, rather than convex…behold the Merciful Master with ever-deepening waves of love, yearning and longing. Desire’s power is enormously helpful…if we could but channel it properly. What a gorgeous and pristine photo, a symbol of the reaching we must do to attain the “sky” of our next higher step.
So true, Al, that’s what I thought of, the “sky” referred to in the Light and Sound texts. My friend Nathaniel Kelley recently called it a “pristine Sistene.”
Hi Lesley, wow, that is am amazing photo, and you are so right, as the Master teaches us, all reality is determined by our point of view and the placement of our attention! Your beautiful photo of the Nordski Trail demonstrates this truth so wonderfully! Grazie tante!
Thank you, Michael. You are so right. All is determined by our viewpoint, and our journey in soul is a succession of more refined views that we come to know through our devotion to the Beloved. We are so blessed!
Thank you Lesley for the lovely photo and the simple simran!
There is also new (to me) info that our body posture will inform/adjust our attitudes.
Stuff like:
Stand like Wonder Woman for a minute and see how ya feel.
Walking while keeping eyes on horizon is a treatment for depression.
Of course those of us whose eyes are single have the best posture of all having the best foundation of all from which to ascend our attentions.
Beautifully said, Sheila. It is true what you say. With our Beloved we have available in an instant all the power in the universe. Still, yesterday I saw Man of Steel, which was way to violent for me, but did leave me with an image of intense determination to stay in the vibration of Love today. So these superheroes really do have their place.
If I could spell “ultanaization” I would point out a sweet metaphor found in this lovely post.
So true, Rudy, what a great reminder of the turning upward of our view, the purification of our concepts. Thank you for the reminder, dear friend.
What a beautiful photo and contemplation, Lesley!
